Getting Started
The best way to get a feel for a therapist is to have a consultation: ask questions and also see what it’s like to talk to them. Have a few of these with a few therapists so you have a comparison. Then select the one you’d like to move forward with.
At that point, if you’ve decided to work with me, let me know and we’ll decide on a regular appointment time. I have onboarding paperwork (HIPAA forms, practice policy, informed consent) I’ll send you to sign, then we’re set to get started.
Therapy sessions take place on a weekly basis and last for 50 minutes. To book an appointment or for a free and brief phone consultation, you may contact me through my contact form, by phone, text or email.

Payment & Fees
Full payment in the form of cash, check or credit/debit card is due at the conclusion of each session. I am an out-of-network (OON) provider, and I am happy to provide you with monthly invoices so you can use your out-of-network insurance coverage if that is available to you. There is a OON coverage calculator tool on my page here you can use to check how much coverage your plan provides.
Confidentiality
Psychotherapy is subject to doctor/patient confidentiality. Anything discussed in therapy cannot be disclosed to a third party without your express permission. There are very few exceptions to this, such as a plan to harm yourself or another. I am happy to discuss this in detail, as this is an important part of trust in a therapeutic relationship.
